RM Approves Municipal Reserve Changes

The Rural Municipality of Three Lakes carried a motion that property owners at lake subdivision be allowed to have a maximum 4 foot wide path from their property through the immediately adjacent Environmental Reserve to gain access to the lakeshore provided it causes minimal disturbance to the natural vegetation and landscape and that no lumber or building material treated with creosote, arsenic or any other chemical that can be potentially harmful to the vegetation or lake ecosystem is used in its construction.
