New Water Treatment Plant -The Village of Middle Lake has recently received government investment to complete a 1.1 million water treatment plant project. This new plant will have significantly increased output capacity, which will allow the village to sell water to people, like cabin owners, that elect to install water holding tanks. This upgrade will create a cleaner and safer environment while improving ground-water quality and accommodating future growth of this area. This region's new lakefront subdivision, Water's edge at Lucien Lake, will benefit tremendously from this announcement. Individuals with water holding tanks will have to haul water a much shorter distance, resulting in lower costs while enjoying extremely high water quality. There is also the potential for future expansion of pipeline water to directly service the subdivision. This project is scheduled to being in the summer of 2010.]]>http://www.prairiesedge.ca/prairies-edge-land-development/whats-new-details/new_water_treatment_plant_for_water's_edge
